Delicious, aromatic, and very tasty dish! Chicken fillet, according to this recipe, is unusually soft and tender. The meat is soaked in a creamy sauce and becomes very juicy and aromatic thanks to the spices. The perfect combination of mushrooms, meat, and creamy sauce makes the dish incredibly tasty and satisfying. For the recipe, you can use chicken breast fillets or take meat from any other parts of the chicken. Instead of champignons, you can use oyster mushrooms or wild mushrooms.
Chicken fillet 2-3pcs
Champignons 10-11ounce
Garlic cloves 2-3pcs
Cream cheese 3.5ounce
Olive oil 0.2cup
Chicken broth 1.5cup
Cornstarch 1tbsp
Water 0.2cup
Salt -to taste
Black pepper -to taste
Fresh parsley, chopped -to taste
Directions:
1.
Wash the chicken fillet, and dry it from excess moisture with paper towels. Clean the meat from fat and films. Put the prepared chicken fillet in a pan with heated olive oil. Fry the meat over medium heat until golden brown on both sides. Then transfer the meat to a bowl, and cover with a lid so that the chicken fillet remains warm.
2.
Peel the garlic cloves, and finely chop them. Add a small amount of olive oil and chopped garlic to the pan in which the chicken was fried. Wash the mushrooms, and if necessary, clean the mushroom caps. Cut the mushrooms into 4-6 parts, and add to the pan with the garlic. Stirring occasionally, fry the ingredients over medium heat until golden brown.
3.
In a separate bowl, mix corn starch and cold water. Mix the ingredients with a whisk until smooth. Pour warm chicken broth into the resulting mixture, and mix the mixture again with a whisk.
4.
When the mushrooms and garlic are browned, pour the chicken broth and cornstarch mixture into the pan. Add salt and black pepper to taste, and stir. Bring the sauce to a boil.
5.
Then add the cream cheese to the sauce, and stir until completely melted.
6.
Return the fried chicken fillet to the boiling creamy sauce. Cover the pan with a lid and continue to simmer the ingredients over low heat for 15-20 minutes. At the end of cooking, decorate the finished dish with parsley.
7.
Appetizing chicken fillet with champignons in a cream cheese sauce can be served as an independent dish or complemented with mashed potatoes, rice or couscous.
